SCOPE OF ASSIGNMENT
Oasis Group is looking for a Sales Representative for the Greater China Region.
The candidate (M/F) will need to have proven commercial experience, preferably having worked with an
international company. Some experience in the furniture/design business is considered an plus.
This is a vacancy targeted – preferably – to Chinese nationals with knowledge of English, however qualified expats will be considered for this position.
The Sales Representative will be responsible for:
- implementing our sales & marketing strategies in the Region
- generating sales for the entire range of Oasis products (i.e. Home, Bathroom, Lightning and Accessories)
- establishing a nationwide network of dealers showrooms of Oasis products (preferably ‘mono- brands’)
- developing the project-based sales through (i) dealers, (ii) architects and (iii) developers
- building the brand awareness among the main players in the market (i.e. architects, developers and dealers).
To cover the whole scope of work, the candidate will be engaged on a full-time basis.
Given the size of the Region, the candidate is expected to travel extensively (i.e. on a weekly basis) to meet with prospective clients and to follow-up on projects. All travel expenses will be taken care by the company.
Compensation is based on the profile and professional experience of the candidate.
The compensation is formed by a fixed monthly salary plus a variable part set as a percentage of the sales generated.
VALIDITY OF THE AGREEMENT
The assignment is subject to a probation period of six (6) months and is based on the assumption that the candidate is able to prove (i) its professional skills, (ii) reliability and work ethic and (iii) ability to generate the required sales targets defined.
Professional integrity (trust and transparency) is an important requirement.
The China Sales Representative is a key member of the Oasis management Team in China
